Telemundo Nebraska is the state’s first network affiliate delivering local Spanish news. Telemundo Nebraska covers three DMA’s – Omaha, Lincoln/Hastings/Kearney, and Sioux City. It is the only local Spanish language connection to over 268,000* Hispanics in the three DMA’s. It has the only local Spanish language news airing Monday through Friday at 5PM and 10PM.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of Director experience directing news from a studio at a major market station
• Minimum 1 year experience working with automation in the news field
• Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends and overtime as scheduled
• Knowledge of spoken Spanish a distinct advantage
Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Omaha, NE
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years of age
• This role will be responsible for the day-to-day production of our Spanish language newscasts, as well as working closely with the Executive Producer and News Director
Desired
• Bachelor’s Degree in TV/Radio, TV Production, or related field
• Familiar with automation systems, TriCaster, Adobe Suite, After effects and other production elements
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with an energetic and proactive approach
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and in situations requiring last-minute decisions daily.
