987 The Big Boy and Cheyenne County Country are looking for energetic, community-minded personalities to join our team.

Whether you’re an experienced broadcaster or someone who’s always dreamed of being on the radio, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

· Host radio shifts

· Record commercials

· Assist with severe weather coverage

· Represent the station at remotes and community events

· Create social media content

· Engage with listeners on-air and online

· Fill in for other on-air staff when needed

· Support station promotions and special events

Qualifications:

· Positive attitude

· Comfortable speaking in front of people

· Strong communication skills

· Dependable and coachable

· Ability to connect with listeners and community members

· Radio experience is helpful but not required

Schedule: Flexible part-time hours including weeknights, weekends and fill-in opportunities.

Ideal Candidate: Someone who loves their community, isn’t afraid to talk to people and can bring energy to local radio.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit, stand, and operate radio equipment for extended periods.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, particularly during live shows.

· Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 25 pounds).
