The Role: Part-Time Promotions and Programming Assistant KIMB

Salary: Based on Experience

Location: Kimball NE

At 104.3 KIMB we work for the community, and no one will understand that better than our Programming and Promotions Assistant. The PPA will punch in every time things start to get exciting and stand at the forefront of one of Kimball’s oldest traditions, KIMB Radio, creating positive and memorable experiences for their friends and family in western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming.

What we are looking for:

• A creative extrovert that performs well as a member of a team or working alone
• A person with knowledge of the Kimball area
• A person with basic computer skills and amazing people skills

Job Responsibilities (Training Available):

• Operation of a live broadcast studio to include a digital audio board and broadcast software
• Light use of audio editing software
• Setup of enticing promotional displays
• Ability to easily understand and guide others through rules of radio contests
• Extensive interactions with listeners and potential listeners

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate and flexible schedule, but most of all, enormous growth potential that could include on-air work.

5 to 15 hours a week
