Sheila Moore

CURRENT ROLE

In April of 2025, Sheila became the Vice President/Director of Sales Development for Flood Communications.  In this current role, she oversees the Sales Departments in Beatrice, Fairbury, and Sidney.  In addition, she develops, implements, and conducts training for Account Executives throughout Flood Communications.  Sheila is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping to develop and mentor talent within the company.  

Sheila brings a wealth of knowledge to both staff and clients throughout her nearly three decades in broadcasting.  She feels the best part of the job is watching small businesses succeed and feeling that we have had an impact on their marketing success.  Today, she develops and trains those who will be the next generation of marketing expertise within Flood Communications reinforcing core values of customer service, marketing excellence, and integrity.

BACKGROUND

Sheila began working for KUTT as the Office Manager of the Fairbury office in 1998.  It didn’t take long for her to become an Account Executive 18 months later.  With an associate’s degree in marketing/sales, the Sales Department is where her passion lives still to this day.  Throughout the next twenty plus years, she would dive deeper into Marketing and Advertising concepts by reading numerous books, attending tons of seminars, and working closely with clients throughout Southeast Nebraska.  In January 2025, she completed her bachelor’s degree in management with a minor in marketing. 

FAMILY & FUN

Sheila and her husband, Nick, were married in 1998 and have two adult children, Zak and Raquel. They live just outside of Beatrice on an acreage with their silver lab, Franklin.  When she is not working, you’ll find Sheila fishing on their boat with Nick and Frank, hunting in the fall, attending Husker Volleyball games, or relaxing on their deck with a glass of wine overlooking their backyard pond.
